The Annual General Meeting of the Alumni EM Normandie Association: an Annual Event that is a must!
School's life
The members of the Alumni EM Normandie Association met at the Meriggio Restaurant in Paris for their Annual General Meeting held on 12 November 2019. They heard the 2018/2019 Progress Report and were informed about those initiatives scheduled for 2019/2020.
For 2019/2020, EM Normandie Alumni Association is planning several highlights, such as Business Drinks in many places in France (Paris, Le Havre, Caen, Bordeaux, Marseille, etc.) and the next edition of the 2020 Open Talks, the meetings that challenge one’s vision of how the world is changing thanks to special insights given by prestigious guests and experts, as well as many meetings abroad on the occasion of EM Normandie Team trips. Not to be missed as well is the Goodbye Party in Le Havre to join us for the last time at the Rue de Richelieu campus before the big move to the new premises at Quai Frissard during the Summer of 2020.
The Alumni EM Normandie and the School support young entrepreneurs
The plenary session was the occasion to hear the pitch by 3 graduates selected by the Alumni Entrepreneurs Club to be supported in 2020 in their start-up projects by InsIDE and EM Normandie. Members attending the Annual General Meeting witnessed a preview of their projects.
Adrien Bonnefoy (Grande Ecole Programme, Class of 2019) of BeLikeHome: "BeLikeHome offers foreign students turnkey shared accommodation with other students. Administrative formalities and furniture are also cared for in order for them to feel at home with all the necessary comfort provided."
Florent Corre (Grande Ecole Programme, promotion 2019) of Maison Lys: "Maison Lys offers premium-quality linen made in France with two founding principles: make luxury accessible to all and help re-industrialise France."
Harouna N’Gaide (Grande Ecole Programme, Class of 2014) of Mes parents & Moi : ‘Our mission is to make daily life for senior citizens easier and delay the moment when they reach the point when they lose autonomy, thanks to friendly visits, a range of services on request, making contact with trustworthy service firms and shopping delivered at home."
Solène Heurtebis’s last Annual General Meeting as Director of the Alumni EM Normandie Association.
Solène Heurtebis informed the meeting with much emotion that after 6 years of events, meetings and sharing within the Association, she was stepping down as EM Normandie Director. Solène is indeed leaving the Alumni Association, but not EM Normandie, as she has been appointed Director of the Le Havre Campus. She will no doubt enjoy attending the many meetings the Association organises in Le Havre on a regular basis.
